U.S. Navy Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program

In 2017, FSRnC provided a workshop for the U.S. Navy SAPR program on the collection and analysis of lubricants collected from sexual assault cases.  In this workshop, Dr. Bridge trained Sexual Assault Nurses Examiners (SANEs), Sexual Assault Physicians (SAPhs) and Sexual Assault Criminal Investigators on the utility of lubricants in sexual assault investigations, especially in the absence of DNA samples. Dr. Bridge also conducted a hands on portion on how lubricants should be collected and submitted to a a forensic criminal laboratory.
